Contract Financial Officer
Stephen Weir is the owner and CEO at RCG, where he supports numerous nonprofits and local businesses by providing financial clarity, thoughtful advice and organized implementation.
He spent nine years as an analyst at Capital One then five years leading a local nonprofit before starting a Fractional CFO practice (which later merged with RCG CPAs Advisors). The experience of leading a nonprofit in Richmond has given him a keen eye for how funding can practically make a difference in the community.
Stephen grew up as a Navy kid in different places across the country and graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in mathematics. He also holds an MBA from UVA’s Darden School of Business. When not solving financial problems, Stephen enjoys time with his wife and three daughters and exploring the James River Parks system.
