We’re hiring an Early Childhood Program and Operations Coordinator.
This is a full-time role designed for a relationship-builder, program manager, and community champion. If you thrive on collaboration, get energy from helping others, and can keep a lot of plates spinning at once, this might be the role for you!
About the role
The Early Childhood Program and Operations Coordinator will support our ECCE grantmaking program and help manage the day-to-day operations of our office. This person will play a key role in maintaining smooth, effective internal processes while also building meaningful connections with grantees, partners, and community members.
From reviewing new grant proposals and coordinating board meetings, to creating blog posts and conducting site visits, this role is an integral part of our team advancing our mission: To elevate early childhood care and education and promote a dynamic Richmond community for all to enjoy by listening to and partnering with our community.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone with:
- At least two years of experience in nonprofit, administrative, and/or customer service work
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience in and a passion for early childhood care and education
- Familiarity with the Richmond region (not a must-have, but it is a plus)
